Easter Initiative

Nearly 1 in 4 people are unsure where their next meal will come from. Rising food costs continue to drive food insecurity across the Greater Toronto Area, with the greatest impact felt by families already experiencing poverty. This is a growing need—and as a church, we believe we can make a difference.

This Easter, Hillsong Toronto and City Care Toronto are partnering with Second Harvest (Hillsong Toronto Campus) and the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank (Hillsong Toronto North Campus) through our Love Thy Neighbour initiative to help reduce food insecurity in our communities.

Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue organization and a global leader in food recovery, while the Whitchurch-Stouffville Food Bank has faithfully provided a safe, welcoming, and judgement-free space for those facing food insecurity for over 20 years.
